Associate Compensation

We pay associates a competitive salary in each of our markets.  Associates are also eligible to receive a bonus in January, based on the associate’s performance during the previous year. 

Judicial Clerkship Bonus

Effective September 2007, we will pay a $50,000 clerkship bonus to incoming associates who join the firm upon completion of a federal court clerkship.

Bar Exam Expenses

We pay incoming associates a stipend to cover bar-related expenses.  We also offer either a stipend or an advance, depending on location, to assist with living expenses while an incoming associate studies for the bar.

Moving Expenses

We pay for the reasonable moving expenses of all non-local incoming associates.

Vacation

Associates can take up to four weeks of vacation per year.

Part-Time Policy

We allow attorneys who want to combine their legal work with responsibilities as providers of care to their children, their parents, their spouses, or their life partners to work on a part-time basis.  Part-time associates are eligible for bonuses on a pro-rated basis.  Associates can also be eligible for partnership while working part-time.
