A training contract with Dechert enables you to launch your career working on some of the most exciting national and international legal matters across a wide range of practice areas, in an environment where people know your name and treat you as an individual. There are two main opportunities available to you. These are our work placement programmes and our training contracts. We offer 35 people the opportunity to experience life as a trainee solicitor through our work placement programmes. Taking place at Easter and in the summer, these programmes offer participants the chance to experience first-hand the work that we do. We recruit between 10 and 15 trainee solicitors a year.  By keeping our trainee numbers low we ensure you will be given good work and treated as a part of the team from day one.  It also helps foster a great team spirit amongst our trainees.
